Awesome Triggers

I purchased one of these about a week ago. I'm using this with the hart magnum mesh heads, a Roland TD-3 module, and EZ Drummer. This trigger tracks flawlessly on my TD-3 after I adjusted the parameters. I was so happy with this trigger I ordered 2 more plus the bass drum trigger. I would strongly recommend trying one of these out.

This is a great deal for drummers looking to buy great triggers without having to take out a loan. I happen to own both the pro and red shot models of this trigger and there isn't really any difference in quality. Both models use the same transducer. The obvious difference is what the transducer is mounted on. With this in mind think twice before passing the red shot triggers because they are not "quality" or don't have the name "pro' attached to it.

Red Shot Trigger pack

I bought this product in a 5 piece pack (4 of these and the kick Drum trigger) for $199 about 5 years back. I use them with an old Roland V-Club TD6 drum brain which I dont think you can even get anymore. I also sing in an all cover band, letting my drummer use them with the Roland and they sound GREAT! (We are completely different styles of drumming.) I did have to go into the brain and adjust some settings in regards to sensitivity, decay time and such, to illiminate the cross talk and double firing. For the price, you cannot beat these triggers. I'm not to fond of the wires exposed like they are, and one of the tie-wraps that hold the wiring down broke, but I replaced it easy enough. One plus side to the exposed wiring, I guess, is you could fix it easy enough if it broke! Anyway, these are great for any bar band, playing small to big rooms. Even with PA on a stick, you can trigger the whole kit and get a killer drum mix, from minimal volume, to louder than hell!

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!

I bought 2 of these for use with my Beat Bug on my snare drums live. One lasted one weekend and the other made it 2 and a half weekends. I learned the hard way, you get what you pay for in a trigger. If you are going to use a trigger for 4 hours, 2-3 nights a week on a real drum, spend the money and get a Roland trigger. I have been using the same one for over a year now!

I just received these triggers. Mounted on my new electronic drums with mesh heads and ran them through my Roland module. They track absolutely perfect. These are a great little trigger for the money
