9 1/2 Inches

The large size Zildjian Zil-Bel Cymbal has a deep bell shape and a low pitch, while the smaller Zil-Bel features a bright, singing, musical tone. Both exhibit the unique raw qualities derived from the authentically traditional pouring and casting manufacturing technique that leaves slight imperfections on the mirror-like cymbal's polished surface.

Ahhhh the 6" Zil-Bel. Never was there such a pristine sound. To bad you can't hear it over the rest of your drums. I went to the music store, and compared the 9.5" and the 6". I loved the sound of the 6" so I took it home and was quite excited. Next thing I know, I'm playing a breakdown and I can barely hear the thing. I would suggest the 9.5" over this bell. It's louder. Still, the 6" is okay. Volume is terrible though.

Well i purchased this bell about 6 months ago, and it sounds absolute perfect what i wanted. Unfortunately, even the smallest splash drowns this thing out no problem, if you plan on using this with a band, i suggest having a mic specifically for this cymbal.

I have the 6 inch. when you hit it by itself, it seems as though it won't be loud enough to cut through, especially with its awkward pitch. But as soon as i started playin it with the rest of my kit, and with my band as well, it cuts right through, and the band was saying how good it sounded as soon as i started using it. its great if you do a lot of intricate stuff on the cymbals and sounds really great when doing rudiments on it and a ride bell. i was worried that i'd be spending a lot of money on a tone i could just get out of the bell of one of my other cymbals, but it really has a unique tone that i dig a lot. soon as i can afford it i'm gettin the larger one as well.

I have both the 6 and 9.5 inch. I must say the 9.5 is nothing short of amazing, but the 6 inch is garbage. You can't hear it over everything else is its such an awkward pitch. Def get the 9.5. You will not be disappointed

This cymbal is awesome, I think the price may have gone up a bit since I bought it but still it's very nice. If you play breakdowns/hardcore like me, this thing will sound so good before or in a breakdown. Bands like Chiodos, Devil Wears Prada, Lower Definition, and more use it. Overall, it's a great cymbal.
