last year, i purchased the 16" of this model and it cracked after almost a year. I loved the sound of it so i bought the 18". this cymbal is so amazing i can't even describe to you how cutting and powerful this cymbal is while still sounding so bright. I definitely recommend this to anyone who likes hardcore breakdowns or even for using china's in punk and rock

i recently purchased this china from a local zildjian dealer and so far i love it. it has a very bright, trashy sound with just the right amount of overtone. nice brilliant finish at a decent price.

My drummer got this china after me trying to convince him to get an oriental trash or sabian. He was convinced this would be better. I was actually suprised by the trashiness of it. It still retains alot of good tone, but can be very trashy. Overall, pretty good cymbal.

Ok. Well I'm getting this china cymbal along with a splash (10") in a ZXT package. After bragging to my dad he said this was a horrible buy I should not have bought this blah blahblahb. It isn't here yet. I'm getting it in 2-4days. I've read all 38ish reviews for this and it seems to me that this cymbal is a great buy. As they say, no 2 zildjians are the same. ANd out of the 2 bad reviews I must say my dad is rong and this will be a great buy. The splash in the ZXT package is said to be more than amazing. IF somehow I don't like, I'll return within 45days and buy a custom Z

I bought this China off of a kid that goes to my high school. The kid is a pretty avid follower of bands like Weezer and The Strokes, so he claimed that there was no way he could incorporate this cymbal into his playing style. His parents bought it for him, therefore he didn't know the price. I have used this cymbal for recording hard rock, mainstream rock, metal, progressive, jazz, and even in an electronica/rock band. For the money, you can't get any better china cymbal than this.
