im a pretty heavy hitter, and i bought the 18 version of the ZHT... It cracked in 2 different spots in bout 3 months. I dont abuse the cymbal just heavy hitter. 4 you heavy hitters out there idk if this is the cymbal for you. It sounds great... a good cymbal hands down but it just didnt last for me. not lying just being honest.

i got this cymbal in a zht pack of cymbals. when i first tries it out i was like, ew this cymbal sucks, but once you break it in it souds amazing! it sounds good as any a custom! i am not a hard hitter but this cymbal has held up great, very nice and sturdy. great for any style of music.

I was in need of a crash because I cracked one of mine. It blends good with the types of music I play (pop punk, alternative punk, etc.) This cymbal has a great tone and sound. It's a great cymbal for people like me on a budget. I will soon be purchasing the 18". In my personal opinion this cymbal sounds better using wood tip sticks. And also if you're a hard hitter like myself this is good because it doesn't crack.

i was looking to buy an 18" crash and came across a shop that had the ZHT's on sale. I figured for the price id pick one up. I have been thoroughly impressed with the sound quality and versatility this cymbal offers. It cuts nicely. It also is on the brighter side of things. I found also that it has a nice jazz sound to add to its playability. Overall, for the price its a great cymbal that I might even buy again, even though it is by no means a top of the line cymbal.

All of my other cymbals are from the Avedis and K Custom lines that Zildjian makes. I bought this cymbal to replace a cracked one, and it actually blends very well with my more expensive cymbals. Very nice, very usable crash sound at all volume levels! I'm very pleased with this cymbal.
