I bought this about a month ago, when it was new, it sounded absolutely amazing, but about 3 weeks later, it developed a large crack around the bend. My friend has the same cymbal and it happened to him too. Maybe it's just not meant for heavy playing, but these chinas break way too fast.

This china cymbal is one of the best i have ever used ( Zildjian ZBT, ZXT, K custom, etc.). I bought the 14" to use as a mini-china to hold my two mounted toms. It is very thin but has a great sound to it. This is not the china for metalcore or screamo drummers but i might recommend the Zildjian ZXT effects package for a china and a ZXT flash-splash.

I bought this 16" china. And when buying a china, I told myself that I would only use them for accents because when people use them for their so called 'breakdowns', it ruins almost any song for me. And this china sounds great for accents. It's a little high pitched for my taste, but for that price, I'm not complaining. This thing cuts through very well and decays fast, but not quite as fast as I'd like, but as I said, I'm not complaining for something at this price.

i have the 18 inch and it sounds great and besides the white marks from my barker drum stick it looks just as good as when i bought it. i have had it for over a year now and it has toughed it out with me hitting the cymbal pretty hard during some breakdowns. this cymbal also accent a normal beat very nicely compared to some other chinas. some people recommend a wuhan in their reviews but i would play an aluminum trash can lid before i ever go back to a wuhan.

This is by far the best china cymbal I have ever heard in my life, and that's why I bought one. It is a perfect blend of trashy tone and quick decay. I absolutely love it!
