All Around Awesome

I use this Cymbal in a very stripped Set-up. I love to have a A,K,A Custom Mix, So I use my 14 New Beats, 18 A Custom Medium Crash, and this 20 inch ride.

The K ride is so Versatile! I was using a Sweet Ride for a long time, but when I played this one, I switched over. So many different sounds, blends perfectly with any pair of A hats and mixes beautifully with an A Custom crash (or Sabian AAX or Vault Crash).

Crash on it, ride one it, it sounds amazing. Just enough wash that is controllable, the way a ride should be.

This cymbal was given to me along with my kit, aged and used. It is great. I can deliver any kind of beat I want. I have to 20'' by the way. It is a sturdy cymbal, and you can't go wrong with it.

Great crash-able ride

I own the 18" version for about one year and I love it. I use it as a crashride and I mainly crash on it, even though it's a ride. It's very very washy. Do not expect a loud bell from it.

Excellent All-Around Jazz Ride

I own the 20" version and it's a great all-around jazz ride. I like this ride because it can make a really wide range of sounds; it has a nice combination of pinginess and wash. There are a lot of rides out there that only do the "ping", but the problem I see/hear with these rides is that they are very one dimensional. You can get a perfect ping on this ride--you just have to use a stick with a small-beaded head and know how to execute a proper cymbal hit for jazz purposes. Unlike the ping rides though, this baby has tons of depth, washiness, and a range of dynamics--in other words it is complex and can deliver a boatload of different sounds. The bell is AMAZING and the best I have heard on ANY ride--perfect for Latin or Funk. The ride itself, as I have already said, is excellent for jazz-both bop and fusion. I can't say this is a great ride for heavy rock, but it sounds great when I play Jimi/Mitch Mitchell tunes, so not all rock is out of the question. But, this ride is really made for jazz, and if you only own one ride for jazz, this is the one!

This is an amazing ride. My teacher has it and I love the ping sound it gives off. If I had the money, I'd buy this in a second.
