I bought a 16 and a 19 from a shop and they sounded ok for a week but then they started to ring forever. Then after 2 weeks one of them cracked. I sent it back into zildjian thinking I hada defected china bet the next one cracked in a month! Don't buy these there terible. Buy the zildjian oriental or sabian aax.

I bout the K Custom Hybrid China for a Chrismas present to a long time friend who is also a drummer I jam with regularly. I tried at least 50 cymbals in the store. I had originally been looking for mthe Sabian Vault that had the sweetest sound, but after striking the K Custom Hybrid China, it was a no-brainer! No other china in the store even came close. It has the richest and fullest sound hands down! And as someone else mentioned you can ride it in different locations for different sounds. Believe me, the price was significant, but once I heard it, there was no way I was leaving the store without it! Oh yea, my friend was a very happy camper!

This china is absolutly amazing... i bought mine over at guitar center last night along with 2 paiste crashes !!! The combination of these cymbals is amazing. The china has the nicest crisp sound to it and it holds the resonance amazingly. LOVE IT i play hard core metal and this gives a heavy beatdown to anything you play!

Trust me, this china sounds amazing. I played a used one, and it was great. Only problem is it's a K custom so it's gonna be pricey. yeah, definitely worth it if you can fork over the cash. I would recommend only getting it if you have other good cymbals to go with it. It's not going to sound right if you're using like sabian b8's or something like that.

I had been struggling to find a china cymbal for some time, and finally had a chance to go to a local music store where they were having a sale to hear some china cymbals. I wandered the racks of cymbals, basically just waiting to hear a sound I liked. I played: Paiste, A Zildjians, K China, etc..then I played the 19" K Custom China. The first thing you notice is an almost creamy "china" crash sound that sounds great at any volume. You can just lightly strike it for a beautiful tone. Second, you can ride it in several places that sound almost completely different from each other. This symbal complements my full set of K Session cymbals. Highly recommended. Gorgeous cymbal, gorgeous sound.
