K Custom Dry Complex Dry Ride II cymbals incorporate many of the successful design elements of the original Complex Rides that were modeled after Bill's distinctive Ride sound. These custom ride cymbals feature a wider bell with a much lower profile to promote more control while offering a smooth array of rich overtones. Weight specifications are slightly heavier (medium-thin) than the first generation of Complex Rides, to make the cymbals more versatile, providing ride patterns that can be heard clearly from within an airy wash of overtones.

Custom made to the specs of jazz master Stewart. Order today!

Just got one of these, site unseen except for sound clips. Wasn't really sure what to expect so took a risk. Reviews on this cymbal are a mixed bag so you really need to alter your expectations as to what a ride cymbal should be. Qualty and Value are 5s as it's well make (Zildjian, of course) but the less than 5 ratings are merely indicative of the fact that I'm not really sure what to make of it. There are some real possibilities for textures, and mallets sound awesome. I have a three ride setup: K Custom Flat top (tic), K Custom Dry Light (Tah) and this one (Tash). You really have to control this one and learn how to play it (not sure I'm there yet). Very swish/china-like crash. Should turn heads either way - think it might be a love/hate cymbal. All things considered, accept the challenge!
