This crash is very versatile and speaks with a quick crisp bright voice that has dark overtones and fades quickly. The Avedis thin crashes are quite a bit more responsive than the thicker crashes and, as I've said, decay faster. This cymbal has that clasic sound.

I had this cymbal for about ten days, then it cracked big time, yeah iI understand its a thin crash but still should be able to last more than 10 days...

I have owned my 16" thin crash for quite some time and can truthfully say it is an awesome sounding crash. It is the epitome of what a crash cymbal shoud be. The A series costs more that the ZBTs or ZHTs, but remember, you get what you pay for, especially with musical instruments like drums and cymbals. Save your pennies and buy the A series Zildjians. You won't regret it. These things will last and sound amazing for years to come, and are professional grade cymbals.

I think this is a great cymbal i am 13 i have played drum for almost 4 years i have paiste signature and zildjian a and my 17 inch zildjian a thin crash is by far the best crash i have played it is my main crash you will never go wrong with zildjian a series.

I bought this cymbal used about three years ago and it finally cracked but I do thrash on it. Personally, my whole band and I think it still sounds better than my ZBTs and my ZXTs. It's an all around great cymbal. It works for anything from classic rock to heavy metal.
