I've had this ride for 4 years and its my main Crash/Ride and I beat the life out of it when I play the heavier stuff. No signs of any cracks. The bell doesn't have all the ping you could want, but it does the job. I love it and couldn't recommend it enough.

This is a great cymbal , very versatile.... But it cracks very easily for all you ride-crashers! Also, every single one i've bought sounds completely different due to the fact that many of these higher end zildjians are hand-lathed. Awesome sounding cymbal.

This cymbal is great, I got it at my local music store when I asked the guy I needed a ride I can crash on, and this was it. I think this one, is a bit more pingy then the traditional, and is more brighter. At first, this ride is very quiet with a band, you can barley hear it - but when broken in it gets pretty loud near the bell, near the bow it's very washy for that 60's sound, The bell is very cutting, it can be used in metal, and can break through every other band member. But the crash is what I'm actually posting about - This is cymbal is basically a large crash, It's loud, and projects well. If your bringing only one cymbal to a small gig this would do the trick, best crash ride ever...

Thanks Zildjian!

This cymbal sounds great: loud, but very smooth and almost soothing. If you are a hard hitter, this does not hold up like a Z custom, so get a warranty. I broke it after only about 2 months. Sounds amazing with Z or A custom crashes.

I personally think that this cymbal is perfect. I've only had it for a short period of time now, so I'm not sure about durability, but it sounds amazing. It's versatile, and is perfect for crashing on! I've been looking for the perfect ride to crash on, and this is by fair my favorite one that I've tried. I highly recommend trying this cymbal out! Also it takes some getting used to, you can't just expect to hit it like a crash, and expect it to sound like an other crash cymbal, using it properly, and knowing what to use it for takes a little time, so give it a fair chance.
