I got the 8" version of this splash for free about 2 years ago from one of my friends that didn't want it anymore. My only complaint is that the only time you can really use it is in a soft chorus or verse with the hi-hats closed. I've hammered it continuosly and yet to have a crack out of it. Overall, another good zildian product.

It was my pride and joy for about 8months. I got it and some paiste cymbal for my birthday. But after 8months or so, the dome went cracking. When I noticed it first, it wasn't bad but soon got worse. Every 8 hits or so it wud stink. But now, a month later it just dies... I purchased a new splash but this one had its time and by far is worth the money. Lasted me a descent time beating the hell out of it. Good buy, don't expect it for ever

I originally bought this 6" cymbal by accident. I meant to purchase an A Custom 6" splash. This splash is very paper thin as mentioned. Very good sound quality from this cymbal. Great for accents. But the only problem is if you're a heavy hitter like me (I'm in a Heavy Metal band) this cymbal will only endure so much. I've purchased this twice & it's already starting to crack again on the outer edge. This is a great cymbal for softer played music. But NOT FOR METAL!

This is one amazing cymbal! I would have never landed on it until my school was throwing it away. (I know, right?!) So they gave it to me and I have been using it ever since!
