I love my 16". It sounds the best out of any of my avedis series cymbals. Has a beautiful tone mixed with a pleasant yet crisp attack. Great for any type of music. I primarily use it for progressive and jazz.

All I can say is this cymbal is friken amazing! I Play in a Hard Rock band, and needed some new cymbals that really cut through the mix, this does that and then some. Its really loud and produces a very warm, almost dark explosion of sound....I use it as my left crash and it works great, match it with my New Beat Hi-Hats, Sweet Ride, and A Custom 19" Rezo and it sounds amazing!

Ive Had the 18"er for 8to9 year and It has just rcently got a crack near the bell wich is a tragedy because the older these things get the better they sound I plan on getting another because I wouldnt trade it for anythign else. It has the best sound very tight and sustained sounding. I had the 14" but that was a weak cymbal Definetly not for hard hitters. but any Cymbal from the Avedis line will work for Any talented drummer.

I own the 16 inch traditional finish about two years ago and really the title resumes what this cymbal is. Not too heavy, not too thin, you can play from rock to jazz with it and, for me, combines perfect with my 18 A medium crash and 14 A custom. And almost forgot it, very durable. Make an effort and buy a "valuable and real musical instrument". A cymbal for your drumlife. YouŽll really enjoy it.

This is a great crash! It just has that sound that you could use in any type of music and it would sound good. And if your a hard hitter like me, it's also good because it doesn't crack. I have used all the sizes and i will soon be purchasing the 17". Also if you are like me and don't like buying things that are a lot of money, buy this any way. If you buy this cymbal now you'll be using it the rest of your life! (unless you sell it)
