this hi hat is by far the best i've used. i got the 13". it sounds great open and closed. the only thing is the 13" is a little hi pitched and i would have gotten the 14" but it was a little out of my price range at the time. which ever one you get, they both sound great! i think you should get this cymbal if you're on a budget but still looking for a great sounding hi hat.

This hi hat is great for the price. It was the first I bought and I am glad I did. It has a minimal ring a great chick. I wish I would've gotten the 14" though because it is a little high pitched.

I have used the 13" Zildjian ZHT Mastersound Hi-Hats for a few months now and have yet to be let down by them. The smaller diameter of this Hi-Hat ensures a higher pitch, while at the same time it produces a beautiful, crisp tone. In short, if you buy this hi-hat, you wont be disappointed.

I almost never give top ratings, but the ZHT Mastersound Hi-Hats earned it! for the price these are its worth it. They are very loud and can be herd over 2 guitarists and keyboard and a bass player. they can take a huge beating to. I've had them for 2 moths and I am a very hard hitter, NO A MARK. Not one. I am very happy with these.

What a great pair of hi hats. They sound great crisp with little ring. The only improvment they could have made is make the botom hat thicker than the top, but overall its a great buy.
