i liked them both but there not what i expected, im a five year drummer and i've had alost of splashes and niether of these sound like a splash but more like a china splash, i do like them and the 10" will last you but not the other, it broke in a matter of weeks but still its a good buy but only if your looking for a trashy/thrashy china sound...have fun metal heads

I have a 10" A custom Zildjan splash and these to splash cymbals...among others. They are well worth the price to add a nice touch to your set. They are somewhat thin, so if your into trashy death metal, be carefull.

These splash cymbals sound great but are easily broken. I would highly advise buying insurance on any wuhan splash or china cymbal. I have broken 5-6 of these over the last 3 years.(these cymbals used to be dirt cheap and were painlessly replaced...now the price has more than doubled since I first bought this same set) The sound of these splashes keeps me coming back. They are a little on the soft side but the sound is very full with a quick decay. Don't expect these to cut through the music unless mic'd.

The 8" is a great splash. The 10" sounds more like a Chinese crash but has it's place. I recommend adding this set with a better 10"like a Sabian Paragon splash. That setup gives you a lot of variation. Whatever you do, it's still a great bang for the buck.

I love effects cymbals, but lets face it, no one hits them more then a few times a song. The cymbals sound great and provide the perfect splash. They are on the thin side, but like I said, I don't hit them very often. If you are looking for a solid addition to your percussion ensemble, these cymbals are great.
