I was looking for a bass drum pedal and looked at and read about this here Trick pedal after playing with the speed king which at times the beater would pop off but this one was heaven sent if you don't have it get quick.

i've owned two of these for one week, and it's changed my outlook on my bass pedal. these things give any pedal you put them on a QUICK response, and the attack they have is awesome! put a pad over the batter head, take the detachable heads off, and they get faster! when's the last time you've seen a novice do 16th rolls at 220? get these beaters!

I own a limited edition dw 9000 titanium double pedal, so naturally adding more titanium to the set up seemed like a good idea. When they first arrived, I put the standard dw beater in one hand and this in the other, and only noticed a little difference. I then placed them in my pedal and immediately noticed a huge difference. I had to tighten my springs even more because it was so feather-like. I don't see how a pedal could get any better/more sensitive. If you can pony the dough, you will be glad you did. Great product...you will want to play more.

i wanted a faster bass drum beater than the huge round felt beaters i had before, and the trick pro v-1 detonater beaters were perfect. it's much, much easier to play fast, and i can get a much louder punch from these babies. they're very light, and yet, very durable. I've had them for a couple months and haven't had a single problem with them.

I've been playing with some lanky round gibraltar beaters for the past couple years, and it was really difficult to be consistent with double-bass patterns. My legs hurt after every practice. These beaters made it actually hard to play slow stuff because they were a lot faster and lighter. It takes a little while to get used to 'em, but they're one of the best investments I've made.
