I have had this drumset for about two and a half years and I couldn't be happier with it. Great tone from the toms, great punch in the bass, all around good sound. The quality of the finish is amazing. Very Well done. Completely worth the money. Good for any style. Great buy.

I am a proud owner of the superstar. I am absolutely in LOVE with it! I purchased the titanium fade over a year ago and I must say it is fantastic! Everything that comes with it is top notch from the kit itself to the stands and pedal. The stands are hardcore and will stand up to any abuse you give them. This is definitely a professional kit. It also sounds amazing during recordings or just looking good during live shows. Make sure you purchase some padded gig bags or hardcases around the time you get it. You do not want this kit scratched. It is way too beautiful!

I upgraded my Pdp cx kit with this, and I couldn't be any happier! I got the set at a local music store, Ground Zero Music (indianola, IA) because i was definately in need of a new set. This was the last of my drum equipment to upgrade, after i had upgraded all of my cymbals to Sabian AAX. Now I play a wonderful set. When i first set this up, i couldnt believe the sound of the toms. I got a second floor tom, so now i run a 12", 14"&16" floor toms. The 16" has more growl than I could have ever imagined. The 14" was a little difficult to find a tuning that i liked, but once i got everything tuned up, the kit sounded amazing! The stock heads are pretty good compared to some, but i reccomend you upgrade to some evans ec2 or something. I used the stock snare as a side snare (it sounded really great tuned high) and use a ddrum ash 13" snare as my main because it is much deeper. i have absolutely no complaints with this drum set. and i absolutely love the finish =]

I just recently received my Superstar Customs. I choose the amber fade and the finish is truly remarkable. I have got nothing but compliments at every gig. They set-up was a snap right out of the box. I originally used the powercraft heads that came with it just to try them out. Not bad if that is all you have to go with. Just took a little more tuning than I would have liked. I replaced those with Aquarian Performance II heads. These drums have a great sound after just a little tuning. Sound just as good as higher end sets I have played and heard. Bass had nice low punch with Aquarian Super Kick II. Toms have fairly nice range of tuning. I like mine low to medium range and they hit that perfect. The snare was just a little more of a pain but, with some time I got a nice crack out of it. This might be my only complaint but, a very minor one. The hardware is truly road worthy. I love the die cast rims and the star cast mounting is top notch. The stands are little bulky but, very sturdy. It can take some punishment. Overall a great set for taking out to gigs and a price that can't be beat. I would highly recommend checking them out.
