I have this set for my church, and it has definitely paid off. The sound that is produced is great. I have Evan's G Plus heads on the toms and just a cheap evan's bass head and it sounds great. The hardware is solid as well. Definitely a good buy. Nice job, Tama.

I got mine about 6 years ago and am still playin. I love the way they sound. I had the stock heads for 5 years and just switched to remo's black suedes.I recommend this drumset to people who have played drums before. The tone is still great on them. Great long-lasting drums!

I bought the rockstar after I had to give up my starclassic, and I couldnt tell the difference. This set has great attack, and the tom mount system lets them come out loud and crisp. The base drum is deep and warm. The aluminum snare also has great attack. Make sure to get the maple version, and buy a pack of Z custom Zildjian cymbals.

My band often plays with another particular band that has this kit and I've had to use it on various occasions. From what I can see, it's a pretty good kit. He has Evans G2 heads with dampening rings on the toms, really good-I don't know anything about the stock heads-, I'm pretty sure he still has the stock bass head though and it's amazing! Pretty powerful set. Personally, I perfer my Ludwig, American-made and just overall better quality, but these are much cheaper!
