I got this one in 14x6.5, super maple finish. The quality of the maple wood is stunning. Black panther? Nah. Get this one. Amazing tone, fat, very warm tone. Same maple shell as the starclassic maple. The only difference are the hardwares. The hoops, i think, is not 2,3mm. But overall, this is an amazing snare for the price. GET THIS ONE..

I bought the 6.5 titanium burst. Firstly, it's absolutely beautiful. It also sounds great. It tunes up easily, and has a wide range. The throw off is pro. The black hardware looks sick. I can't really think of anything negative about it.

Great Sound, Great Price

First off, let me just say that the value for the price can't be beat. I bought the 5.5x14 Titanium burst one. I'm not a huge fan of Evans heads except for kick drums, so I went ahead and got a Remo Coated Emperor for a batter head, and a Hazy Ambassador for the resonant side. I also put on Pure-sound custom wires. Tuned right, this thing has the warmth of a Maple snare, but the attack of a metal snare. The hardware looks really slick too. The throw-off is very nice, the lugs are nice, and the hoops are great too. The only thing you might find wrong with this snare according to personal preference, is the paint wearing off the hoops if you play rim shots. But other than that it's great. Obviously it's not like a custom DW snare or something, but it's a serious upgrade, and it's extremely reasonable. Seriously consider it.
