I bought this drum from the company directly about 6 months before it came out on the normal sites, I run the brain part through a Sony Vaio and the pad through a Simmons 200watt monitor. The great thing about this drum is the fact that you can add your own sounds to it, the only thing I have a problem with is there is no way to loop, other than that great drum, I love it!!!

I've been waiting for something to come along that offers this much sound control when I play electronic drums. Since the Simmons SDX and the Korg WaveDrum are no longer around this is the only way to do it. The Mandala position resolution is 128 strike position rings which is over 40 times better than anything else available, and it's obvious as soon as you start playing this thing whether you're triggering 1000's accurate position and velocity snare samples on a single pad or creating ambience or actually composing tonal music. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to improve their playing skills or just kick back and create.
