Dynamic birch tonality with natural wood looks in Fusion sizes

The Sonor S Classix Stage 2 kit offers a convincingly expressive and dynamic sound with powerful treble and mid-range pitches and well-balanced deep tone. Great tone combined with the very latest features, makes this set is a centerpiece of the Sonor drum series. This kit features fusion sizes, including 10"x8" and 12"x9" toms, a 14"x14" floor tom, a 14"x5" snare drum, and a 22"x17.5" bass drum.

This kit is designed for advanced and professional drummers alike, and for admirers of the natural wood look. Whether it's classic '60s beats, monster '70s grooves or modern performance, with an S Classix Stage set, you're equipped for anything.

These shells deliver maximum strength, perfect curving and neutral tuning, thanks to tension-free cross lamination of the individual layers of wood (CLTF Cross Laminated Tension Free Process). The drums have 9 plies for toms, floor tom and snare drum, and 12 plies for the bass drum.

Tune it up, and Stay in Tune!
All of the lugs are equipped with Sonor's TuneSafe tuning-safeguard feature, which prevents tension screws from loosening during hard rim shots or where batter heads have been loosely tuned. The new square tension screws with fine-pitch threads guarantee optimum tunability. Slotted tension screws with fine-pitch threads remain available as accessories.

Maximum Resonance!
The vibration-free T.A.R. system (Total Acoustic Resonance) with APS (Advanced Projection System) provides for maximum resonance and sustain. This tom mounting system, the bass drum bracket, bass drum, and floor tom legs all come equipped with special APS rubber insulators that prevent direct contact between the metal parts and the wooden shells. This gives the drums a more dynamic, more precise sound.

FABULOUS DRUMS FOR A RELATIVE SMALL COST COMPERED TO MOST SONOR KITS ESPECIALLY THE SIGNATURES I FOUND THE BIRCH SOUND TO BE VERY STRONG WARM I BET THEY WOULD RECORD WELL
