The high-gloss-lacquered natural wood surfaces draw Sonor Force 2007 drums into the limelight.

The Sonor Force 2007 Series is designed for advanced drummers who do not want to sacrifice any of their musical freedom. The 9-ply birch wood shells are the superb foundation for Sonor Force 2007 Sets. A hefty and dynamic sound, with accentuated mid-ranges and highs, and defined lows, are the hallmark of these shells.

The birchwood shells in the Force 2007 Stage 3 pack deliver maximum strength, perfect curving and neutral tuning thanks to tension-free cross-lamination of the individual layers of wood (CLTF - Cross Laminated Tension Free Process). Sonor Force 2007 shells are made of nine 7mm layers for bass drums, toms, floor toms, and snare drums. The Sonor Force tom-toms with short shell sizes offer controlled sustain and give the drums a crisp attack. Sonor heads are made by Remo.

The Sonor Force tuning lugs with fine-pitch threads are equipped with the TuneSafe tuning safeguard feature, which prevents tension screws from loosening.

The tom mounting system allows powerful sounds thanks to minimal shell contact. The vibration-free T.A.R. system (Total Acoustic Resonance) provides maximum resonance and sustain. With the tried-and-tested Ball Clamp system with individual tom arms, the toms can be positioned wherever the drummer wishes.

The 17-1/2"-deep bass drum allows more power and rich bass drum sounds. The pre-muffled batter and resonance heads on the bass drum provide all-around powerful sounds and dynamic kicks. The bass drum legs can be turned around so that they rest on either the rubber or the metal end and can be adjusted using a fastening screw. The inner workings of the bass drum bracket apply smooth yet firm pressure.

For the money it doesn't get any better. They have the sound and look of drums that are the result of enlightened, thoughtful design and execution.The Force set I have the pleasure of playing everyday intimates any kind of corner cutting or compromise, representing a great value for the dollars.When you play an exceptional set of drums there’s an emotional connection, an intangible quality. Thats what you get with the Sonor Force 2007. Save your self some time and money. All you need to do is change the Heads. Your in business to play gigs and Recored in the Studio.

I bought my kit back in Dec 07, I thought I would give it a year then write my review. I had not played for about 10 years or so and I was lookingfor a kit that was mid priced, sounded good and I could do some gig's later on as I got my chops back. I am very impressed with all the hardware; lugs, rims, and all the other hardware. I use evans heads and the drums sound great.I think for the price, I would take the pepsi challenge with any other drum kit in this price range, Do yourself a favor and pick one up you won't regret it.

I bought my kit back in December of 2007,i have played on it for almost a year no and all i can say is WOW.I paired mine with evans g2 coated heads For the batters and g1 clears for the resto bottoms. I was looking for a middle of the road kit and this was awsome for the price. I matched the bass drum with the evans emad3. Every peice of my sonor kit is top notch, I won't hessate to take this in the studio or out on a gig.

I played a set of these at an outdoor gig and was blown away. I didn't really think at first that they would sound that good, but after I stared playin them I was impressed. I liked the snare more then anything. It had a really nice attack and tone to it. Definatley a great buy for the money.
