When you first get this cymbal, you know you've got something special. I own both 16 and 18 inch crashes and for the price, they can't be beat. Both crashes sound great. They have a great smooth and crisp sound that works with any style of music. very good cymbals!!!!

The Sabian XS20 16" medium thin crash is a terrific sounding crash cymbal and a great bargain for the money. It has a very clean and somewhat darker sound with a pleasant sustain. It has no undesirable overtones. If you pair this with an 18" crash like a Paiste PST 5, it makes a great combination. Again, for the price of this cymbal you will be very happy.

The sabian XS20's are acually one of my favorite cymbols becuase I have tight budget and if you do too they are perfect. They can take a beating for quite a long time but right now I own the 16 inch and its lasted for a few months now the longest of any cymbol ive ever had and it has a crisp attack and a quick decay. Perfect for faster playing. its bright without being to "annoying". I am to be purchasing the 18 inch pretty soon because I heard that cymbol and its a perfect match for the 16 inch it has the same attack but a longer decay but a great tone.

I got a 14 incher in a package about 6 months ago. I play Death Metal and during shows adrenaline usually gets the best of me so I hit relatively hard. This cymbal has held up without a dent or a crack night after night. I use it as my main crash a lot of the time and it has held up wonderfully. It is very wallet-friendly and has a good sound, very bright and it project fairly well for a small crash. I highly recommend it if you are short on cash and want good quality for a good price.

Puts The Cra-ck in Crash!

Overall, i loved the 16" Medium-Thin Crash I had for about a year and a half, but being a hard-hitting metal drummer that puts ALOT of energy into his music, doesn't help the Medium-Thin part.I wouldn't recommend this cymbal to hard-hitters necessarily, but the sound is amazingly washy and impressive compared to others...I recommend a thicker cymbal, but not heavy for drummers like myself. Good cymbal for like rock or blues though!
