The first of Sabian's new Vault range of cymbals and sounds, the Vault Crash. Handcrafted from Sabian B20 Bronze, this thin yet extremely robust model is designed to deliver powerful and punchy front-end attack with bright, glassy sounds and a full sustain for increased effectiveness. The Vault slices through the mix.

It also benefits from a power-increasing bell, balanced bell-to-bow response, and narrow pin-lathing that reinforces the high-end focus of its sound. This is a crash with a super-clean, cutting, and modern sound. As Sabian's artisans say, with the Vault Crash you can hear the silver.

I bought the 17" version of this cymbal about 2 months ago and at first i was a little skeptic to buy it because it's a thin cymbal, but man does it sound good! my only complaint is that it has just a little bit of wash/over-ring to it but when im jammin', can't even tell. I'd recommend it to anyone that wants a great sabian cymbal for a decent price.

I own a 16" and an 18" in this series and they have a great crash sound. They sound great in the studio and on stage with good clean, brilliant sound and great sustain. I recommend this cymbal to drummers of all styles.

I bought the 17" and the 19" 3 years ago. I actually just cracked the 19" to my dismay, but these are still the best sounding crash cymbals out there. I have yet to find one that compares in the slightest.

Best Cymbal I've Ever Used!

I got this cymbal about 1 1/2 years ago and love this thing to death! I bought the 18" crash and use it as my main crash because of the amazing sound you get out of it. Bright, shimmering, glassy, and long decay. I was looking for something that fit this exact description when I searched for a top of the line crash cymbal, and couldn't be happier than with the one that I have. I'm going to buy a 16" Vault Crash very soon because, in my opinion, the sound that these produce is second to none!
