Detail

Medium weight, for fast, crisp responses and clean sticking.

Developed with Neil Peart of Rush, the Sabian Paragon series blends 2 styles of lathing for a very balanced hi-hat cymbal tone. Pinpoint lathing creates a narrower groove for a fast, lively response on the top, while the traditional AA lathing creates a wider groove for a fuller, richer tone on the bottom side.

Amazing hi-hats

I have the 13" hi-hats and they are absolutely awesome. They sound very crisp, clear, and bright and have great sizzle when played barely open. The bell also sounds great when played open. They are such a pleasure to play that when I sit down to play them I'm usually stuck there a couple of hours.

Through and through the best hats I've ever owned. These are so crisp and clean, they're perfect for on-stage use or in the studio. Excellent stick definition, and super-cutting "chick."

The Best

Let me just start off by saying...HOLY CRAP! These are the best hats I've ever played. I'm a huge Neil Peart fan and I figured these would be awesome. I went to check them out, and they were everything I could have dreamed. They are of the finest quality and have a pure, crisp, "chick". In their price range I think their the best. I tryed out some Zildjian A custom hats, and they weren't as crisp as these. I own the 13 inch hats, which are the same ones Neil uses as his main. The high price may be a downer, but save your money. You won't regret it. These are the best.

The New Standard? Great sounding, versatile hats!

These hats sound incredible! I own the 13" model. Very quick and crisp, excellent projection (but not too loud) and a great chick sound. Not too bright and not too dark. Very contemporary sounding. I was surpirsed at the versatility of these hats. I thought they would only be suitably for louder rock type music. I have played these with a jazz quartet, a soft rock-pop band and a hard rock band, and they excelled in all three genres! For a long time, Zildjian New Beats and the Zildjian K/Z combo (or the Sabian Fusion Hats) were the "standard" hats of the industry. I think that these could easily become the new "standard" hats, because of their sound quality and their versatility. They are pricey, but worth every penny!

I have owned these for almost a year now, they still sound as good as the day I got them, no signs of wear at all, the only thing about these is the price, I am 16, have no job, and had to work for like ten weeks just to get enough to buy them, but it was so worth it, before I had these, I had camber hats, which inverted when I stomped on that stuff. they have a great sound overall
