These cymbals are ok in case you need them. But if you can do better go with higher end. I had the pack for about a month before the 18" crash cracked. The only good thing about these cymbals are the hats and ride.

These babies are a great buy for the money. B8's are thin and fast so they play well in loud or quiet situations. Unlike some of the other brands, which begin with Z and P, the B8's don't have a low frequency that requires louder play to make them sound good. Crashes are fast and light, ride is bright and has a very pingy bell, hihats just sizzle all night long. Buy'em, you won't regret it. You can't beat them for the money, and you'll never need more cymbals unless you want a china (which are pretty useless in my opinion)

This is my first cymbal set I bought over the summer of 2009, I worked hard for these cymbals and let me say they are worth it. They have pretty good crisp sound I was expecting them to have. I love the ride and the splash a great cymbal effect. I bought them at guitar center for a little bit more than the online price, I have not had them long enough to say if itll need the 2 year warranty but they seem pretty durable.

these cymbals are pretty good. i tried them out the other day at the shop. sounded good and an amazing price. i only play like 2 times a day. so not much. but i do need a cymbal upgrade. so i brought them today. sounds great. worth it very much so. so i reckon this is a great product for any beginner, or just the one who plays a few times a week just for fun. A+
