My Church has this ride cymbal, and let me say, it is one of the most amazing rides I have EVER heard in my drumming hobby, let alone life. I must say, I am not one for crashing this though, I love the bell sound though, it actually sounds like an actual bell as in zilbel or icebell. That is if you hit it with the tip of your stick! Overall it is a 7 stars out of 5! mhm thats how good it is!

Just got this thing and let me tell you, it sounds EXACTLY like the sound files on Sabian's site. Don't know what people are talking about saying you cannot crash this thing.......it is wonderful. I'm going to use it on a jazz gig. The volume of the ping is silvery and probably not meaty enough to cut thru grindcore guitars but it's bell sure is. Almost bought a K Hybrid........glad I didn't now.......amazing........oohh, I should mention for a heavier cymbal, it has AMAZING feel.....feels like a softer ride which for us groove drummers is a godsend. Well done, Sabian.

I sent an email to one of the best drummers out there, Flo Mounier, and I asked him what to get that meets my music style. He told me to et this one. Man was he right! This cymbal is awesome. Flo uses it for Grind metal, but I use it for stoner rock. Its very versatile! Great ping from the bell and great response from edge riding. BUY IT!

When I first bought this cymbal I was a bit under impressed, but as I played it, it began to grow on me. Now it is my favorite cymbal. It has just the right feel to it and the sound is very dark. The bell also produces one of the best pings ive ever heard. Definitely a cymbal worth having.

Great cymbal, try the AA version as well

I tried this cymbal and thought highly of it, certainly the bell sounds great. But I found the overtones when riding hard were too harsh for my tastes. I ended up getting the AA version of this cymbal, which also had a great bell soound, good articulation, and warmer overtones when driven. It was also $120 less (though I thought they were the same price when I decided to buy - so that tells you I thought the AA was great). So at the very least try both if you can.
