amazing value for the product. I bought the 16" Its great, but, its not as loud as I would like my other crash is much louder but every time you hit my zildjian cymbal it has many different noises... this sabian b8 pro has a very steady noise and looks amazing to! I couldn't have bought a better cymbal

I got this cymbal about a month after I started drumming, and let me tell you: I have no regrets. This cymbal has the perfect amount of ring time after you hit it. It's not too short, and not too long. It's high pitched, which I favor over deeper sounding cymbals, and you can it in any way, shape, or form and it a good sound will come out. Whether or not you want to produce small, elegant rings by lightly tapping this cymbal, or go out on a full out blast by smashing it with intense force, this cymbal will pull through. Only problem I would warn you about: it can get scratches pretty easily, so be careful.

My Thoughts on the Sabian B8 Pro Crash

I purchased my 17" Thin Crash at about 6 months ago and I continue to be pleased about my investment. It's very sturdy and reliable, and cuts through the mix very well. It throws down in practice as well as in the studio or live. I use it with a 4-piece kit and a set of Sabian AA's, and it matches superbly. I strongly recommend using a proper plastic flange and felt washer on the stand when playing this cymbal, however, as it is more succeptible to damage in that area than some other cymbals.

Just recently I purchased the 15 inch model, and I was somewhat skeptical. At first the cymbal had a kind of dissonant cheap sound but as I laid into it throughout my band practice I realized what a deal I had. It cut through the mix quite well, which a 15 inch Zildjian projection crash could not. Great deal. Thing ROCKS.

the 16 inch version sounds pretty good, but it is not a good dark crash for heavy metal, however it is a very good musical crash with good tone for all music except punk/ heavy metal. this is an amazing crash for the price.
