My father bought me these for an end of school year present and they're great. They're very heavy, strong hats with a good response when closed. They don't have the best sound when they are hit while open but it is managagable, especially for the price. These are great for a beginner, intermediate, or a professional.

I bought these about 6 months ago and to be honest , they aren't great, the rest of the B8 series is pretty good but the only thing you can get from the Hats is the security that your bank balance won't deteriorate.

okay, listen. these hats suck. if you don't want to spend alot of money for bad cymbals, get the B8 hihats, not the B8 pro. these sounds terreible. they give a bad sound closed and they don't give much a veriaty from opened sounds because they don't really vibrate very much so it's harder to get an open sound good and even a good one sounds bad. don't buy it. buy the cheaper B8s.

The hi-hat's I received are really well put together and have to be one of the best transactions I have ever made in MY LIFE! So yeah They are really nice and clean cymbals, I do not recommend these to anyone who is in a hardcore band and likes to have loose and/or washy cymbals.

I just started playing in a christian rock band and I desperatly needed cymbals badly, so I got these cymbals because they were so cheap!!!!!! They also sound great too and they have been the best cymbals I COULD ASK FOR!!!!!!!!!!!
