I got this as my first ever ride cymbal so you might want to take this with a grain of salt, but in my opinion this is a great ride, especially for the price. Out of the box its pretty washy and has many overtones so I stuck a moongel on it and now no complaints. Its very bright and the bell has a great sound. Don't crash on this it doesn't sound good at all, but thats not the purpose so I guess great ride terrible crash.

I use this at my jazz band, and I own the regular b8 ride. To me, this ride is a roller coaster. You don't know how its gonna sound. One time, I got a nice sizzle at the end of the ride, and the other time, a really obnoxious ping which I got in trouble for. I would say it doesn't really have a part where you know the bell starts which I didn't like. The good is you dont have to clean the cymbals, and they will last. The ones I use lasted 7 years already!

I got this cymbal recently and it is well worth the money. Its got a nice ping, great stick response and it is a beautiful rock ride. Well worth the price.

I actually selected this ride after many weeks of searching. I played everything from $50 no names to $1800 hand made cymbals from Prague. Why did I choose a cast, low-end Sabian? Because it simply has the most ping, clearest tone, and even resonance available. I don't know how they did it but from stage to studio this proves itself to be Sabian's best effort in any of there cymbal lines.
