I've been playing percussion for over 12 years now and this is the best overall china I've ever put a drumstick on. A little too raw for lighter genre's however still a very versatile sound. I play predominantly hard rock/metal and it has a great wash, incredible response, and amazing projection. It's rare to find a china that sounds good at high and low volumes, simply put, this is the only china I will play.

Before this, I had the $15 dollar Wuhan due to an urgent need for a china. I played shows and recorded with it and it was a good china, of course not great but it lasted while having a somewhat good sound. I bought the AAXtreme China and played a show with it the same day of purchase and I am EXTREMELY satisfied. It has the perfect sound for shows as it is trashy and loud. I play in a deathcore band and it sounds simply amazing for my type of music.

Sabian recently sent me the 15" version of this china, and it's exactly what I've been looking for: Crashes loud on the rim, and a fantastically tight dark trash on the bow. Perfect in both quiet and loud settings.

I have had this china for about 2-3 months then it cracked and surprisingly, it sounds better cracked lol! I'm not saying break your china, but this china is a must! Very quick response perfect for breakdowns.

I'v had the 15" china for about half a year now and I am very impressed. It gives you that raw trashy sound that a china is supposed to give you and it is great for metal. It sounds alot like Porntoy's chinas which is great. It's a little thin so you think your going to break it if you hit it to hard but other than that this is an amazing china.
