The 13" version of these puppies are perfect for funk or anything Chad Smith-based. Into fast closed-open hi hat transitions? These totally blow the New Beats out of the water.

Pretty versatile as well. Not as tonal as the A Custom mastersounds but they're clean as hell.

I know Jimmy Sullivan from a7x uses these and he's a primarily open hi hat player and they suit his role perfectly.

Also the 15" version of these describes metal in perfection.

I played A custom hihats until I purchased these about 4 months ago. all I can say is heaven. I bought the 13 inch hats and I love them. They are perfect for the jazz band at my high school yet they are versitile enough to work well in my main hard rock/metal band. Well worth the money.

I bought this hats almost a year ago and I still use them. They are pretty much good for any genera of music except really soft music. I would recommend this hats to serious drummers.
