I purchased this cymbal a couple of months ago. Very explosive. Has a quicker decay and is a little darker than Sabian AA Mediums. Overall, a great cymbal!

Awesome cymbal!! It sounds so amazing! It was the first good quality cymbal I got. I couldnt afford any before and once I got it I could hardly stand to hear my other cymbals. AAX is known for being strong and durable so the quality is great and its a little cheaper that the same size and quality Zildjian cymbals. Not that I have a problem with Zildjian, I plan on buying an Armand crash eventually, but $20 off is always welcome.

This is from no newbie, been playing 43 years and had a lot of cymbals from B8s to Ks. I was going to switch from A Customs to 16" and 18" in these just to have new cymbals and something different to see and play. Glad I didn't get rid of the A Customs before hearing these and returning them. Not sure they even sound as good as B8s. Feel at least medium weight and might sound decent if you're a really hard hitter (I didn't try it) and don't mind breaking sticks on cymbals. Not even close to the league of Zildjians in my book. I also have some Wuhan traditional crashes that sound and play much better. Everyone else is certainly entitled to their own opinion.

I owned this cymbal for about two years before it cracked and broke, I played it about everyday. I play a lot of metal, so i'm a fairly hard hitter. I recorded with it, played it on stage, and it never let me down. I was sad to see this cymbal break, but I replaced it with a Sabian AAX X-Plosion crash wich sounds great aswell.

Purely awesome cymbal, if your into any kind of rock its great. Just cus' it's really durable and has an awesome sound. My only advice is to NOT use coloured sticks, it just ends up markin up the cymbal.
