this splash is probably the best. It's definitely quick, and bright and a must buy!

I don't know if mine was different than what the others reviewed in some way. But I got a 10" in a multi-pack I returned. It was so thin I believe I could have folded it like a piece of paper. I believe it could only have been heard in the quietest of situations (living room sized venue) and didn't sound so great even for that. Thank goodness I hadn't jumped the gun and sold my A Customs just to have what I assumed would be all Sabians until I heard them. The crashes sounded like B8s but that goes in a different review. This is from no newbie, been playing 43 yrs. and had a lot of cymbals from B8s to Ks.

I love the sound and reaction of this cymbal! I own the 10" and plan to buy a 12". It's quick and bright with a short sustain. Just what I want in a splash.

I have owned the 12" Sabian AAX splash for about a year now and I must say that this cymbal is versatile enough to be played with any style of music, while not being overpowered by other cymbals. It has not broken even after vigorous use, so that is why the value and quality are both rated 10.

This a great cymbal for jazz and rock, but no for hard hitters. This cymbal sounds amazing but only took me a week to crack. so if you are a heard hitter, go with a AA-metal X. Overall a good cymbal.
