This china is by far the best china I have ever used, perfect decay, loud crisp attack, and just a beautiful cymbal over all. My one problem was that it is rather quite so in a situation where you are not mic'd it may be a bit shy.

I got the 16" 4 months ago and it got a two inch crack from one blow during a song with my band. If you hit your cymbals hard, do not get this, unless you are willing to spend $ every four months on a new one. That being said, while it lasted, it was my favorite cymbal on the kit.

Yes, perfection is a word to describe this cymbal. From live gigs to the studio, this china does it all with amazing sound. I own the 18" AAX China and I love it. It blends very well with my HHX 20" china and my Hand Hammered 22" china (great cymbals as well). It is by far the best 18" china that I have ever played on. If you buy it, your dreams of a perfect china cymbal will come to life.

It is a great cymbal. I love mine and I would suggest it to anyone. It is really trashy but still has some ringing overtones that can be eliminated with some tape and cranking it down on the stand. (I'm in it just for the trash). It is a great addition to a drumset for any level.
