I bought the 17'' at a local music store, and let me tell you, this is the greatest crash out there. I also have an 18'' AAX stage crash, which when both put together has the most interesting mix. This cymbal sounds great with other crashes also. It has a glassy sound to it that cuts through anything. Also im an extrememly hard hitter and I havent put a scratch on this thing. BUY THIS CYMBAL!!!!!!!!

I play progressive metal, to Groove rock. I have played on a few modles over my enjoyment of playing Sabian cymbals. This cymbal has an quick open attack and a moderate sustain with quick cut. I like it I prefer 17' or 16' but I us as an layering cymbal to groove with in my material.

I've had this crash for half a year now, and I love it. It sounds great, and you don't have to hit it hard for it to sound good...But you can, and it still sounds great and I have not had any problems.

I bought the 15" Dark Crash 2 1/2 years ago I've used it as my main crash the entire time and beat the crap out of it... and it just now started to crack. I've loved this crash it is my favorite crash on my set and I am literally right now buying another 16" to go on my set.
