Everyoen said this cymbal is nothing special. But I loved it. I have the 10' because it came free with my 17' and 19' metal-x crashes.

It is perfect becaus I have an 8' wuhan and it matches up with it greatly. I strongly reccomend this cymbal in the 10'

the cymbal sounds great, looks cool, easy to put into songs, but after 10 months, it has a crack around the bell, it doesnt effect the sound, except that it rattle/sizzles every time i hit it, and its not as loud anymore, but for those 10 months, i recomend it.

I bought the 10" to complete a set of Sabian B8s that I use in the studio, I haven't tracked with it yet, so may append this review in the future. I am happy with the sound and quality of the B8s, but the aax splash is not as good. It has a VERY tiny sound unless his on the edge very softly. I am goin to try a Zildjian next.

First off this is possibly the best splash ive ever heard. It sounds so nice and its really easy to put into a song or just to play alone. this is a cymbal that will make your drum set kick ass. I love it more then I love your mom. Great cymbal.

Though the metal-x name implies heavy cymbals, the MX splash is a thin model that is very splashy sounding. It is a versatile splash that is in no way excluded to metal only. They are loud and cutting without sounding tinny or clangy. I own the 10" and 12" and also a special ordered 8" and love them all.
