I bought the 16" Sabian AA chinese cymbal, and its great in many ways,looks nice, feels solid, and holds up great during play. My only complaint is pretty much based on opinion. It wasnt really the sound I was looking for coming out of the china, but I decided to keep it any way. If your considering this cymbal go for it, but one bit of advice, try to find a friend or audio clips online so you can hear how it sounds before you buy it, because it may not sound the way you think it does.

Got this cymbal (18") free of charge last year from the concert band. Brand spankin' new never played. Even if I had paid full price for it, I would still have bought this cymbal. Plays great, great attack, not too ringy. Bends somewhat easily, but taking good care of it will prevent that, plus it is rather thin. Wouldn't trade it for anything. except maybe a 20"

This is a decent China. I have a 16". It's brighter than most Chinas I have heard. It could just be this particular China. No two cymbals are exactly alike.

However, it's got that washy oriental sound one would expect in a China. I'll hold on to it until I beat the ever living crap out of it.

I love this cymbal! It's loud and brash, and cuts through the band with ease. It isn't as trashy as other Chinas available, but that's why I love it so much! Excellent finish and craftsmanship. Get it, you will NOT be disapointed! :)

I have owned this cymbal for about 4 years now and it only just now cracked. I'm not necessarily a hard hitter, but when you start playing this cymbal it just enervates you, so I beat the crap out of it. It sounds great for everything from accents to prolonged china-abuse and cuts through nicely. Amazing cymbal, I'm ordering another right now. Get it!
