I got this set during the labor day sale and was very happy with it when it came. The hardware is a little delicate but the sound it had when I got it all set up was pretty amazing. Can't wait to put a real set of heads on it. I've previously gotten the SP double bass pedal assembly too which made it even sweeter adding this to the kit. I'd recommend getting it. Great student kit and more. I'm looking forward to using this one quite often for recording and practice sessions.

I was totally amazed when I got this drumset. Mostly everything is of good quality, except my cymbal stand is kinda wobbly. The heads arent terrible, you just have to dampen them with moongels. This kit is perfect for any situation, and it will sound better if you change out the batter heads and the resonant heads.

This is a great kit for the price. Me and my brother play guitar and bass and wanted a drumset so we could jam and also learn drums. So far its been great setup wasnt to hard and it sounds really good esp. considering its only 400 bucks. The hardware isnt very stable and the stock heads arent the greatest but other than that its real nice. Definitely recommend it for beginners or intermediates.

I looked at some pricey kits at the drum store and decided I wanted a cheeper kit so I could get better cymbals. When this kit arrived I was blown away. First empression was this is nice. Then I got it out of the box and set up and was very surprised that the quality of this set was as good as what I was looking at for 3 times the price. All the heads were hydraulic, very cool. cymbal stands were decent, but the bass and the HH pedals are kind of flimsy but they arent junk by no means. I shopped around and know that is kit is just as good as any high priced set, hands down. You will not be dissappointed in this set in anyway. BTW, I got some nice cymbals for what I saved on this kit. Its not just for beginners, but for well seasoned players as well!
