In high volume situations, Rhythm Tech's upgraded stainless steel jingles are a quantum leap forward that will take you to a whole new level. The Pro is also available with brass jingles that create a warm, funky, chunkier sound.

Overall, the new instrument has a lighter, more responsive and comfortable feel with a sound that can be described as "turbo-charged." The Pro is available in a choice of colors with either stainless steel or brass jingles, and comes in its own protective molded gig case.

Rhythm Tech designed and patented the original Rhythm Tech Tambourine back in 1980. A universally acclaimed revolution that permanently changed the way the instrument would look and feel, it has remained the standard for both professional percussionists and musicians of every level for over 25 years.

As good as it is, Rhythm Tech always thought it could feel and sound even better. The only thing holding the company back was the available technology of the times. Now after 25 years, the technical possibilities have caught up with Rhythm Tech's vision.

Rhythm Tech redesigned the handle, and changed the jingle layout and the balance point. Rhythm Tech gave it a unique cushioned over-molded GLS playing edge, and added more than 15 other design innovations to create the new Rhythm Tech Pro Tambourine.

ProMount
The ProMount is designed exclusively to mount the Rhythm Tech Pro Tambourine and will not fit either the original Rhythm Tech Tambourine or any other brand. The mount will fit onto Rhythm Tech's DSM2 or DSM quad mount, (or any other mount that attaches to a percussion instrument stand and accepts a standard 3/8" rod). It enables the Pro Tambourine to slip on and off so that it can instantly be converted to a mounted instrument.

pretty good mount, great sounding tambourine. Easily goes from mounted to hand held by sliding it off the mount. It has rubber edges so you can hit it with your sticks. Wish it had more colors so I could have matched my drum set.

This is the coolest and loudest tambourine I have ever used! My other tambourines are so soft I can't even hear them. This thing was probably as loud as my snare drum. It is the best thing I have ever tried. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is tired of not hear the true sound of a tambourine.
