... That i have ever OWNED. I've played with many other kits before, and this certainly isn't the best, but it has its perks. First of all the drum set itself is great, especially for beginners. the cymbals and heads are kinda meh, but they actually lasted me a good time (my bass head just cracked open and i've had it for about a year.) Once you get new cymbals and heads though, this is a great set and for a great price. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone starting out and looking for a good, cheap drumset.

I've had this set for a little over two years now and it's still awesome! The stock heads are alright, you just need to tune them right. But if you could afford it, buy Evans hydraulic heads. And if you can't afford new heads (like I couldn't) buy either moon gel or remo rings. They work great. The cymbals are alright, but get some different ones if you can. For the bass drum, put something like a pillow in it. It mutes it very well. The hardware is also good, but the cymbal stands are kind of flimsy. Overall, a great beginner/intermediate set!

It may not be top of the line, but it's a great set. The cymbals are decent, but as soon as you can afford to buy better ones, I would recommend doing so. Instructions for assembling the suspension mounts are TERRIBLE! Once it's together, it looks and sounds good. Great deal for the money!!

This drum set is a very good beginner kit The stock heads suck The Cymbals are not the greatest I stripped, sanded, and stained these and I get asked every show if they are customs If you put the time and money into them, you can transform your starter kit into your own "custom" kit

I own the older Pulse Lacquer mahogany drums and I love them, they are great drums for the price. I took off the Pulse stickers and people ask me all the time are those customs? Setup is very flexible and the mounts are quite stable. If you're putting dents in drumheads, you're playing them wrong, If your drums are "high pitched" you're tuning them wrong. If you tune these drums well they are really quite nice .. not liking a drum for the stock head is like not liking a guitar for the stock strings. All in All, I would recommend them to anyone and regularly do...
