Very pleased with this trigger. I use it with a 12" ddrum snare that I like; a mesh Pearl practice head and a Remo Muffls sound control ring (very inexpensive stuff)and it feels and sounds great! I run it through a Roland TD3.I just had to turn up the sensitivity and it works fine. What a savings compared to buying an electronic snare drum for over three hundred dollars! I'm thinking of picking out a nice set of toms and doing the same. It's like having that V-Drum sound & feel with the real accoustic drum look for a fraction of the price!
