Based on the original Vision formula, this VX927 7-piece drum set features blended birch ply shells with 6/8 shell technology. Lower frequencies require greater energy to project equally to match the high frequencies produced by smaller drums. Vision's combination of six-ply rack toms and eight-ply floor toms and bass drums deliver a dynamically balanced sound.

SensiTone snare

A really good kit for the $!!

This drumset is one of the best values I've seen. Ever. They have excellent drum to drum balance and mic very well live and in the studio. I changed out the kick heads to Evans E-mad and threw around a few moongels on the toms and WoW! Awesome sound and quality all the way around -the tones are punchy and thick on all drums and very musical. After my first session with them I got the 2 mounted toms off of the kick drum shell and onto a Gibraltar rack and the kick really came alive. (No pillow-no jacket} These drums compare favorably with kits costing twice or 3 times as much. I have the fusion kit with a lacquer finish, to which I added a 16" floor tom. The rim mounts don't look very beefy, but they do the job. Overall, I am very satisfied with the Visions and plan to keep them forever.

I purchased this kit recently to replace my old First Act drumset. The kit itself is very nice, the individual drums are very adjustable to virtually any position I desire. The heads sound very nice with some tuning. The bass drum is just amazing, has a very nice full "BOOM" without much ringing. The sensi-tone snare has a very crisp, define sound. The hardware included with this kit is incredible! The cymbal stands are very adjustable and extremely sturdy and hold my 21" Sabian ride with ease. The snare stand will hold the snare at any angle and will keep it there, it doesn't budge no matter how hard I hit it.

I recommend this kit to anyone, it is a great deal, it will NOT disappoint you... after all, it is a Pearl!

I Bought this Kit recently! I must say that I simply cannot get enough of it! The colour! the Quality! and the hardware is to die for! I couldnt be happier with it! A bit tricky to tune, but all drums are when they are out of the package. amazing set and i cant get enough! I bought a five piece when they had the free tom deal and orderd an extra floor as well. might as well eh! go hard or go home! The floor and bass really deliver a deap sound! Absolutly Cannons! Love it! love pearl! Amen!

As an active musician I was looking for something in my price range and also quality, Well after months of reviews I decided on the Pearl Vision 7 Piece Drumset knowing that I would probably be impressed I own 3 other Pearl Drumsets and everyone is the Quality I look for with the vision series it combines quality woods,hardware even the heads are pretty good. I got all that without even Burning a hole in my pocket I got everything I asked for Pearl drums of any series are the Best and now with 4 in the bag I can finally say I will never own another Brand of Drums EVER Pearl is top of the line you will deffinetly love the set!!
