Amazing Drum Set

I've had the Pearl MCX Masters custom standard shell pack for 6 months and it is simply the best drum set I've ever played on.I added 8" and 10" toms and the Masters Custom snare all in the chestnut fade finish. These drums are very easy to tune and are incredibly well built. This is a high end kit with a low end price. I mainly play rock & roll, but this kit would sound great with any form of music. Bottom line is this will be the last drum set I will ever need to buy. Buy this set and you will be glad you did.

I recently ordered this kit in chestnut fade with custom drum sizes (8x8, 10x10, 14x14, 16x16, 18x22 bass). The build quality is phenomenal, perfect bearing edges, no signs of warping or incorrectly set lugs. I have owned other pearl kits and it seems obvious that they set a high standard for build quality. Most importantly, the drums sound great, precisely what you would expect from a high end maple set. They have a great warm sound that resonates beautifully, and the attack is more than enough to cut through my guitarists dual rectifier stack blaring in my ear. My only complaint is that when i bought them they said they shipped with G2's on the toms, which is what i use anyway, they showed up with single ply Remo's. small potatoes though, really. overall the best drum(set) purchase i have made yet.
