Listening on Paiste's site was the only preview I had of this cymbal. I knew when I ordered it, this ride would be great, but I was blown away at what this cymbal can do when I got it. You can play soft, meduim, loud and the cymbal maintains its crisp, distinct ping over a harmonic wash. Even better, the wash doesn't get too overbearing when played loud, it just sort of holds its character. Expensive? Yes, but for a drummer looking for the best, you won't regret this one. This ride is truly an amazing piece of work.
