Do yourself a favor if your a drummer and buy this cymbal...period. I used the 18" in the studio and loved it so much i bought both the 19" and 20" and haven't looked back since. They are loud enough for any live situation but musical enough for any studio. There are very very few cymbals if any that can do both these things. And lastly, but more importantly, not only are they durable as heck but they sound absolutely beautiful. Take my word for it, order the cymbal, get the cymbal, play the cymbal, be happy:)

After 25 years of drumming I can give you this advice.

Do yourselves a favor and don't buy any cheap cymbals or you'll be sick of them in 3 months. I own all paiste signatures and love them more than anything. They are a work of art and sound musical not like a garbage can lid like some lower end cymbals. Save up for the signatures and you'll never have to buy another cymbal ever again.

I got an 18" power crash a few weeks ago and brought it to practice. About 30 seconds into our first song our lead singer stopped practice to tell me the new cymbal was "Sexy." Her words, not mine, but I can't think of a better way to describe this! I've been searching for some time for that high-energy crash that I can really lay down on, and this is it. If you've got the money this is the one.

I bought the 18" about 7 months ago. I bought it assuming it was the best crash out there, I played, and realized, it is. This cymbal is absolutely perfect. It is very loud and resonates for a long time, which is a good thing. It looks great and blows all other cymbals away. I also have an 18" Zildjian A Custom Crash and a 20" Sabian AAX Metal Crash and this is more articulate and louder than both of them. It has a nice washy/hissy ride sound which is good for soft rock or jazz. The bell is high pitched and doesn't force the entire cymbal to resonate when it is played. If you have the money and want the absolute best cymbals, buy Paiste Signature, you won't be disappointed.

This is the cymbal that sounds like you taking a rock and throwing it through a window this cymbal is the best Paiste makes as far as im concerned.I own 18" power crash- 18"full crash" - 18" dark energy mark 1 crash.
