I have the 22" Rock Ride. In a word, this ride is loud! The bell will put a hole in yer momma's head, but the bow has a nice shimmery wash...which literally rings for days. Some may find it a bit tough to control, but for the experienced drummer, it's no problem. Don't duct tape the bottom (I abhor duct tape on anything), let 'er sing. This is high quality, intermediate-level cymbal, and the best in it's price range. Try it, buy it, and fall in love!

! have the Paiste PST 5 22" Rock Ride. Let me tell you this cymbal is sweet. I think it's well worth the money. The ride itself is extremely loud, but the bell is killer loud. It's so loud it will pierce your ears when you hit it. This cymbal cuts through mixes really well. As you probably already know it is very washy but the washy ring gets drowned out by everything else, so that's not a big problem. I would highly recommend this cymbal to anyone who likes to play an overall rock genre.

it is a very good cymbal it is my first ride cymbal. The only problem is that it rings a lot so i put Duck tape on the bottom to stop the ringing it worked. i like it 'cause you can use it for light song heavy songs. i play with my church, and i play to UnderOath at home. Over all worth the money.

I bought this cymbal to complete my set of PST5's. I have medium hi-hat and two medium crashes (16 and 18 inch.), and i was looking for clearly "rail" sound. I've listened Meinl MCS, Sabian B8 Rock Ride, B8 Pro, and finally PST5 - in "groove", "medium" and "rock" variations. So, rock ride of PST 5 have the most clear ping and the most cutting bell, and its good combinate with my medium crashes (i don't like thick cymbals, but this one is an exception). So i can recommend this beautiful ride for all people, who consider their money

Paiste has created the pst 5 mid budget cymbal series, and I think it is the best mid budget series out there. I love this ride! It has an amazing bell that really cuts through, great ping, and a great bright sound. My only complaint is perhaps a bit to much wash, but that can be overlooked. Overall, the pros outweigh the few cons. Just buy it!
