I purchased one of these because I'm considering buying more of them for a group snare drum class. I am VERY impressed with the value of this 10-lug drum. It comes assembled, just needs some tuning. Keep in mind that this is a wooden shell drum, even the chrome finished one. And the sound is superior by any standard. The stand is not the greatest, but about what you'd expect for cheap hardware. As long as I teach my students not to overtighten, it should work out for a long time. The stand is concert (standing up) height, which I prefer. The bag seems to be high quality and can be used with either a shoulder strap or as a backpack. The sticks are so-so, but my particular pair seemed to be matched! I figure you'd want to buy your own sticks anyway. In summary, I'd say the orbitone is out of this world!
