im been playing drums for about 7 years now and i had the pearl export for a long time and finally needed something more pro quality , this set is SOO beautiful !! and it sounds amazing! 9 and 6 plys sound soo good! its 100% maple so it has so much power and warmth!!

I just bought this kit yesterday. I also own a PDP MX kit and a DW kit and it gives the DW a run for its money especially for the price. I was sold when I heard the 9 ply 22x20 kick, it sounds amazing if you like a lot of bass. I have Remo Emporer heads for that extra volume and durability. I would recommend this kit mostly for rock and pop and other loud types of music.
