I like them, the pack isn't 100% perfect, but for the price it's great. I only have one complaint, the bell on the ride. I've heard better, and worse. If the bell is really important you should listen to it person. You should also know that the china doesn't give you a tradational china sound, you should listen to the sound clips on Meinl's website if you already haven't. Overall, great product and good price.

Absolutely amazing pack. these cymbals are the best you can possibly get for the price. They all sound great and dont have that aluminum foil sound or feel that many beginner cymbals or other cymbal packs have.

These are a great deal for the price, as other reviews have said. But, they don't compare or sound anything like Sabian AA or XS20. More like 70's era Paiste 505. Or between that and the 2002. So, yea, it's an exceptional deal.

Having spent the summer researching (and buying) new and used cymbals here and elsewhere online, I can say that the best deal I got is the Meinl MCS pack with *free* Filter China. I bought them to put on my 5-year-old's kit so if they got trashed I wouldn't fret too much; budget cymbals, right? Well, I sit down at his kit and play them myself and love them! Compare to other cymbals (budget or otherwise!) made from B8 alloy; I don't think you'll find a better VALUE for sound, look and quality. The hats sound professional; the crash and ride are totally worthy as well. The Filter China found its way to my kit--shh, don't tell! Yet another review ending: Buy these, you won't regret it!

Thes are overall pretty great cymbals, other than the China, the china sounds kind of funky, and mine cracked after 3 months. it's pretty bad now. i would just try to find another pack with just the 3 main cymbals the hi-hat, crash, and ride. and just buy a Wuhan or a Zildjian Oriental. But for those of you who like China's that ring a whole lot. you can just try it out :P
