i got this cymbal about two weeks ago and started playing immediately, the sound has a nice long sustain with a good ping when you hit the bow and the bell has a dry, long sustain to it. overall its an amazing cymbal

Nice ride for the price, it was very washy at first but I've since realize it sounds a TON better with nylon tips and a moongel slapped on the outer edge. Good buy for beginners on a budget.

When I first got this cymbal I didnt think it was to good,but once i started playing it more I started to like it more.I think it is better for fast song than it is for slow songs.And it has a nice bell.The only thing is it rings a lot.but overall it GREAT!

I bought this cymbal about 4 or 5 months ago and it hasnt failed me since. Very good bell and sounds pretty good. I would really recommend this if your on a budget or for a second set.

The Meinl HCS Ride probably the best ride you will get for your money. Has a nice ping to it and no to much of an overtone. The only problem so far is that stick marks show up on the cymbal sometimes. Overall, this is really a good cymbal.
